How pesticide SDS requirements interact with HazCom
Pesticides carry their own labelling and training requirements under the EPA Worker Protection Standard for Agriculture, 40 CFR Part 170, and equivalent regulators in other countries. These are separate from and additional to HazCom 1910.1200. A farm that is compliant on pesticide labelling is not automatically compliant on general hazard communication, and vice versa.
